Is it really free and does it expire?
This tool generates a static QR code for free. The code itself has no expiry date, but a link may stop working if its destination disappears. No Tylias tracking or URL shortener is added.
Can I change its destination after printing?
No. A static QR code encodes its content. To change the encoded address, you need to create and print a new code. You can still edit your own destination webpage while keeping its URL unchanged.
Which format should I choose?
PNG is convenient for documents and screens. SVG is a vector format and remains sharp when enlarged. Every export preserves a white quiet zone of four modules on each side.
Do Wi-Fi QR codes work on every device?
Many camera apps support Wi-Fi QR codes, but compatibility varies by phone and application. The WPA/WPA2 option is for personal networks; enterprise networks are not supported. Test on your devices.
Is my data sent to a server?
Generation and downloads happen locally. Google Translate loads only when you open the language menu. Input fields and the QR preview are marked as non-translatable. Still avoid entering secrets if you enable a third-party service or browser extension.
